Ari Wangerin

Ari has 14 years of design, development, and construction experience. He has managed complex ground-up, value-add, and adaptive re-use / conversion projects across various asset classes: Industrial, Office, Hotel and Multifamily.

He has held senior positions at local PE firms Group I, and Riaz Capital. Of recent note, Ari navigated a complex entitlement process for an 83 key hotel, negotiating a developer agreement with the jurisdiction. The project was approved unanimously by City Council.

Prior to his career in real estate development, Ari was a Project Manager at United Mechanical – one of the largest design-build union mechanical contractors in the Bay Area.  At United Ari estimated, bid, and managed design-build mechanical projects for fortune 500 companies like Apple and Amazon.

Ari is a licensed General Contractor, and has been featured as a guest lecturer at UC Berkeley’s Graduate School of Design. He holds a B.A. in Construction Management from Chico State.

Tim Rooney

Tim has over 14 years of development experience in all phases: Acquisition, entitlement, design, debt and equity financing, construction and disposition.

He has developed projects totaling over 3,000 units, with total capitalization in excess of $1.3 Billion, including skyline-changing projects in San Francisco.  Tim held senior positions with Emerald Fund, Toll Brothers Apartment Living (TOL), Riaz Capital, and has developed institutional-scale projects as a sponsor and General Partner. 

He has been a technical advisor on housing finance and policy to several key organizations including:

• San Francisco Mayor's Office of Housing (MOH)

• Bay Area Housing Finance Authority (BAHFA)

• Berkeley's Terner Center for Housing Innovation

• California State Legislators, and others.


Tim is an advisor to the rebuilding effort of Altadena fire victims.
